As an Anystay host, managing your property and providing a welcoming experience for Guests is a fulfilling responsibility. One crucial aspect of this journey is understanding the various booking statuses that your listing can undergo. In this guide, we'll explore the common statuses you may encounter.
Common statuses
Confirmed
The "Confirmed" status signifies that a guest has successfully booked your property. Congratulations! Your guest is ready to experience your hospitality, and your space is reserved exclusively for them on the specified dates.
Requested
When a guest expresses interest in your property by submitting a booking request. This allows you as the Host 24 hours to review the Guest's profile and details before accepting or declining the booking.
Complete
Once the Guest has checked out, the booking status transitions to "Complete". As a Host, take this opportunity to encourage your Guests to leave reviews, which can enhance your listing's visibility and reputation on the platform.
Additional statuses
Cancelled
The "Cancelled" status indicates that a booking has been terminated, either by the Guest or by you as the Host. Circumstances leading to cancellations can vary, but it's essential to familiarise yourself with your property's cancellation policy and any associated fees.
Declined
If a Guest's reservation request doesn't align with your availability or Hosting preferences, you may choose to decline the request. The "Declined" status reflects this decision and allows the guest to explore alternative accommodations.
Expired
The "Expired" status occurs when a Guest's reservation request hasn't been accepted or declined within a 24 hour time frame. It's essential to stay attentive to incoming requests to avoid expirations and maintain positive interactions with potential Guests.
Change requested
This status indicates that a Guest has requested modifications to their reservation, such as changes in dates or the number of guests. Learn more about Changes
Refund requested
If a Guest requests a refund, the "Refund requested" status is triggered. Review the circumstances leading to the request and adhere to Anystay's refund policies. Learn more about Refunds
