Updated over 8 months ago

So, you've found the right stay, now what? Depending on the listing, you can either instantly book or send a request to stay. Here's how you can book your first stay.

Message your host

Before booking your stay, it's a good practice to reach out to your Host. To initiate communication, navigate to the listing you're interested in and click on the "Send a message" button. You can enquire about check-in procedures, seeking local recommendations, or discuss specific details related to your stay.

Check your booking details

Before you book your stay, make sure double-check your dates and the number of guests so you don't have to change your stay afterwards.

Check-in time

Confirm the check-in date and time. Ensure it aligns with your travel plans, and discuss any special arrangements with your Host.

Checkout time

Check the check-out date and time to ensure it suits your travel itinerary. Communicate with your Host if you have specific departure requirements.

Guests

Verify the number of Guests your listing can accommodate and ensure it aligns with your travel party. Communicate with your host if there are any changes to who you're bringing.

Guest policy

Review the Host's guest policy, including any additional fees for extra guests or specific rules regarding visitors.

Pay for your stay

When everything looks good, it's time to pay for your stay. You can pay with any credit or debit card from around the world, as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay using our secure payment system. You will only be charged once your stay has been confirmed.
